Well, you've got me excited! I wasn't sure how well the ghost elements would do in a Naruto story, but I think so far it's working pretty well. It's really pretty frightening what these spirits can do, and I can't wait to see what Inori will do with Yamato.

I should note, though, that deserts CAN be cold. While most of them are hot during the day, it's not uncommon for places like the Sahara and Sonora to drop near freezing at night, and during the winter the Gobi desert is freakn'freezing. Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

This was certainly an interesting chapter! Shigure's story is a pretty hard one, although I think it would have helped if we had a bit more of Madara and Shigure bonding. His transformation into a dog should have also been part of the flashback too. His transformation seems very similar to Fullmetal Alchemist. And I had a brief point in my imagination where I imagined Sakura talking like Chirs Tucker(god, no...)I'm looking forward to seeing how they will deal with all these spirits.

Anyhoo another nice chapter, Tauya is finally out of Wave and is headed towards Suna. Ino's finally awake, seeing her reaction to wahts happened should be interesting. And The Darkness learns of Sasuke and it going make him its new puppet. Then again from what we've seen its not that difficult to make Sasuke your **.

Your omeke was also pretty funny, poor Naruto all because he went to the wrong adress. Although we did get some really awsome cameo's, the only thing that could have made it any more awsome was if Chuck Norris had been there as well.

I also loved some of the costume choices for the rest of the gang. How approptiate you had Hinata dress as Yuna, one flat dimentionless and bland character dressing up as another one. You might as well have Hinata dress up as Orihime as they are essentially the same character except that orange haired ** is worse then Hinata.

I'm not sure what to think of your rant from the start. Hopefully, it does send the right message, but I think they'll understand. You already clarified this in that review you wrote. Let's hope everything is ok in the aftermath.

The chapter got off to an intense start. Darkness Itachi was relentless. Kisame and Shigure desperately tried to stop him. Shigure ends up getting hurt. It was a nice brief skirmish, but it appears the Darkness ended up with a flawed body. Even though the Darkness could've somehow cured Itachi, he refused any kind of outside force to aid him. That pretty much separates him from Sasuke.

On the subject of Sasuke, it appears the Darkness has found the perfect vessel. Though he failed to bind Itachi against his will, the Darkness delved into his memories and found out about Sasuke. The vague image of 'Darkness Sasuke' was creepy.

The talk with Itachi and Shigure was intriguing. They both could relate on the subject of warfare and the consequences it brings. I wonder if Shigure is willing to kill Sasuke if the Darkness ever takes him. We'll see. There's lots of foreshadowing possibly leading to Shigure and Sasuke's confrontation. I wonder how the Sasuke vs Itachi battle will play out in this universe.

I must give you credit for writing Kisame as more than just a villain. He seems like a more decent fellow in this fic. I wonder how the Demon Country will allow him to see Shion? Well, there's Shigure. Shion and her already know each other. It should be good for those two to reunite.

As for Tayuya, well... it was good while it lasted. As soon as those thieves moved in, I knew the Flute Diva would return. The catalysts that triggered the Diva's return took Inari's life being endangered and Tayuya herself nearly being raped. It didn't long for Tayuya to finish off the thieves and regain her bloodlust. Still, it was quite touching for Tayuya to leave Inari. Poor boy.

So, Tayuya heads off to Suna and prepares to invade. I look forward to her unholy reunion with Temari (who will be surprised to see her no doubt). Suna has their hands full dealing with an erratic and powerful Cloneblade. If Deidara wasn't bad enough...

Glad to see the Konoha-nin return hom safely. Sakura and the Witchblade already sense the Darkness. Oh, and it's about time Ino is out of her coma. I look forward to seeing her and Sakura conversing. Those two have a lot to discuss. I also wonder what the medic-nin will find out about Tenten.

The omake was very fun. Nice to see all of the classic horror monsters. You even included the Ghostbusters and Ash Williams. Nice way to pay tribute to Halloween.

Overall, a great 'Halloween' theme chapter. Happy Birthday and have fun this weekend, my friend.

that was an awesome chapter. Itachi didn't become the darkness host, but the darkness has his eyes on Sasuke ( more like have his eyes on sasuke's eyes). I have a feeling that darkness sasuke will be scarier than the darkness itachi. And Tayuya finally returned to her Flue Diva persona. One thing I am sure: Suna will be in a deep troule with Tayuya cloneblade attacking there. I am curious on what the witchblade has given to Tenten.
