THE unshielding ^_^ How adorable. I haven't read anything in this fandom in ages. I loved the intensity of emotion, I got pretty caught up in it. Hisoka was adorably gruff and stoic. The characterization was fine! I didn't see anything out of place whatsoever. The only thing I will say is that in book 6 we see Hisoka's room and he has a very cute and fluffy looking western bed with a striped cover ^_^

Lots of things of fantastic quality;

Tsuzuki's cheerfulness - Declaring that 'We're home!' when it clearly is not his house is classic Tsuzuki, and made me smile. I've missed his random happy moments!

Hisoka's disassociation - this was really very well written; the sense that Hisoka was lost somewhere in his own mind and only vaguely aware of reality, even after waking up, was delicately but very obviously a purposeful approach on your part, and I loved the distance that it placed between the reader and where Tsuzuki was waiting, calling us back. M!

Oh, and them falling asleep together. I love this pairing to begin with, and even gen pieces are usually adorable, but warm fuzzy Hisoka and happy Tsuzuki are my favourite kind.
