This story reminds me so much of the episode of growing pains where Mike convinces Carol to not get the plastic surgery done to her nose, and the episode where he thinks Bobby was spreading rumors about Carol and punches him. I definitely love your story. Thank you so much for writing it.

i LOVE stories like this. i am an only child and have always wanted an older brother. stories like these just melt my heart. i always loved the mike/carol dynamic. that one episode of them on the porch and he put his arm around her reminded me of this. anyways, excellent work :)

Awesome story! I totally loved it.

I really like this story. You helped show the loving big brother side of Mike that I'm sure he has. The only part I didn't like was when Mike was still grounded for two weeks, even though he explained what happend. I don't think he should still be punished, especially since he didn't argue the punishment in the first place, which means he was truly sincere in his actions of helping his sister. Other than that, great story! :)

Great story. I love Growing Pains, and still occasionally watch it in repeats. I have the first season on DVD, and wish they'd release the other seasons.

Pretty good tale. Though to give it justice if I had written it, I would have had Mike's grounding be shortened once his parents knew the whole story... Keep on with the awesome stories!
