Sorry about not reviewing for so long (an hour a day on the intarwebs and one learns to prioritize. Unfortunately, that means all those pesky research papers and whatnot that professors decide to assign in the last month before summer >.>)
But enough about me! Time for your review, yeah?
This was very, very sweet. But I don't think it was "cavity sweet". Even though I'm not a sucker for "happy endings" this wasn't completely sugary-sweetness happy ending. There were still elements of realism in this story (such as the acknowledgment of death, dying, and growing old) which made it just right for me.
Allen and Lavi starting a small little family is VERY adorable. I also applaud you for not being creepy and making them have kids as the result of MPREG. I'm sorry, but it's just not natural, and for some reason I just can't deal with it well >.> But this was realistic, adorable, and just so sweet that I had to kind of squeal a little bit at the all-encompassing cuteness of it all~
Further character development with everyone was nice to see, although you really left (I don't know about others, but...) me hanging with what exactly is going to happen. You left it open with the war still going on, Allen looking older than he should, and this somewhat foreboding prospect that either Lavi or Allen is going to die, leaving the other alone with their children. Maybe I was reading too much into it, but there could definitely be more. I can be satisfied with this being the last one, but...yeah. That's just my opinion, haha.
This story was very nice, though, and was a pleasure to read! If not a continuation of this wonderful plot you have, I would like to see more from you in the future!

That WAS sweet. Very. I loved the interaction between Allen and Lavi - way too cute. :D Especially in the beginning and when Allen says he loves him but sometimes he just pisses him off. XD That was great.

I love how Lenalee reminisces at the end. Sometimes, I just can't imagine them older but here... Well, when you had Lenalee braiding Allen's hair, I just thought of Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist.

I am sad for Catherine. Ah the irony. Poor her. But she still has her nakama.

Anyways, sorry for the late review. I was gone pretty much the whole day and finally finished reading it (I was reading a few sections at a time because I had to do other stuff) and it was wonderful.

Is this all? Or will there be more? I hope there will be more. Amazing part. I love their little family. ((insert many hearts that will overload you))

God, I love how well you describe the situation and how you managed to include two kids and still mantain the D. Gray Man atmosphere from the anime.

I seriously hope Lenalee finds someone to settle with (if Komui doesn't blow him off first) it would be really fun if it was Kanda but I doubt that. About Miranda's engagement I really like the fact that she's pregnant because that would mean the kids would have a friend to spend time with, leaving Lavi and Alleb to do whatever "business" they need to do.
