I enjoyed both chapters, and am intrigued by this from ch. 1: "If she counted Berlin and Paris, where he had spared her life when he shouldn’t have, then the total came to five times." So we have a lot to catch up on... Why should he not have spared her in Berlin? You are setting up a lot here; I'll look forward to seeing how it all resolves. |
