Especially not from 'Patriot'stuff, but this take was just peerless. During chapter 2 I just couldn't help thinking of 'Serial mom' as a title. "Gabriel: We should have brought beer." Great point! There are so many other situations where I laughed out loud. I will keep my fingers crossed that you'll be just as ready-witted when it comes to the finals. Good luck! That was fabulous.

Besides "Dude, you can talk", "Are you high?", "We should have brought beer", "obscenely large litter" and "don't watch Family Guy" (which I LOVE by the way, as it's from my homestate, but I can totally understand Brenda not wanting the kiddies to watch it, LOL), my other favorite moments were: "Tavington: So…could I get rid of her then? Oh pleasepleaseplease? Cornwallis: (Sighing.) What are you proposing, Tavington? Tavington: If you let me get this **—woman, ahem, I will not put any of the blame on you and take full responsibility myself. But if I do this, I won’t be able to return to England. Cornwallis: O-o-o-o-okay. Tavington: But if I, you know, had some land in Ohio or something, that would be cool." "Susan: I had to because everyone else had passed out from the Vodka and I was the only one who could call the paramedics. Gabriel: Uh…why was everyone drinking Vodka? Susan: Aunt Charlotte said it was her medicine and everyone tried it. Charlotte: (Laughing nervously.) Oh, you joker! Susan: Whatever. I hate Mommy now. She dumped me with an inadequate caretaker who doesn’t even like me." "Brenda: She talked?! She really talked?! What did she say?! Gabriel: Uh…she said that she loves you and misses you and…stuff." "Gabriel: So, um, love can…do weird things to people. Brenda: If you have an STD—" "Susan: Mommy, I’m sorry I didn’t speak to you earlier! I wasn’t really mad at you; I was just suffering internally and didn’t know how to express my feelings, let alone cope with them. I wish you could stay here with me, but I understand that you can’t. I was upset with you until you attacked Aunt Charlotte, who has proven a terrible guardian; but now I forgive you completely and I have made a remarkable catharsis! (Brenda weeps.) Abigale: Well bless my soul. Up yours, Oprah!" "Jean: Gabriel’s gone. Brenda: What?! You mean that I didn’t hear OR see him and several other men mount their horses and ride off to wreak vengeance?!" "Jean: (Falling on one knee.) Brenda, I have loved you ever since you first walked into Burwell’s tent and dissed French people! I love you!" "Brenda: You burned down my house and killed two of my sons. You think that turns me on?! Tavington: Uh, er, well…yes. (Brenda stabs him.) Tavington: Et tu, Brenda? Then fall, Colonel!" Oh, and just so you know... "Chicka-chicka-yeah!" is now my official phrase/thingie which I shall quote all of the time now, entirely credited to YOU, of course. ;-) Except it might come out more like..."Chicka-chicka-YEE-ah!"
