So funny! ^^ I think Matt is one of my favourite characters!

Have to say I really enjoyed this so far. Have to think this sort of event would happen sooner or later once Mattand Lucy got together. The conversation between the family would be pretty interesting. You knew she would be charging in the moment she found out that Matt was over there. Would have to think that part of the chat would be making the point that McLane's behaviour right now is part of the reason she was distant from him in the first place. Has to respect the decisions made by those two.

Overall it has been pretty funny. Like how things shift when Matt actually gets hurt and then shift again when Lucy arrives. Poor guy does have a lot of guts to be with Lucy when he knows first hand how dangerous McClane can be.

Hope you decide to update since it's a pretty nice story so far.

Gah I didn't even realise this had been updated! Luckily I have an account now so it can go on my alerts! :) I love this story; Matt is the best character from Die Hard 4, and I love his interactions with McClane! I 100% agree with you- I really hope they do make a fifth movie with both of them in it...
Matt is very sweet in this fic: “I don’t cry about my dolls – no, they’re not dolls. They’re collectables.” Heh heh...and I love him "thin, scruffy and shaggy", as McClane puts it!
I hope he can show McClane that he IS right for Lucy, and that he IS capable of protecting her if she needs it! I'm guessing he will, though, so I'm happy. :)
Also, I definitely don't mind about your chapters going over 600 words- the longer the better!
