Hard to find a non-slash story about these guys.

Anyhow, I agree with the fact that they're like brothers on this topic, and as the TFA series went on, especially in the episode of 'Human Error' Parts I & II, when they all looked to one another as a family member.

I can see Optimus as the father figure most of the time, Ratchet as the grumpy Grandpa, Prowl as the quiet, eldest brother, Bulkhead as the one in the middle of everything (and the middle, biggest brother), Bee as the energetic, enthusiastic young brother and Sari as the young sister that everyone looks out for since she's pretty young

Aw, so cute! And I'm usually not that much of a "cute" kind of person. ) I had to laugh. "Trademarked looks" That was great, and I can so see Prowl as being like a big brother to little Bee.

In fact, this relationship is like me and my brother, my more quite nature clashing almost constantly with his more wild one, but we still get along and manage to survive in the prosess. Well writen!
