I haven't seen a fanfic with as much deep contemplation and and in-depth character self-analyses as this in a long time. Beautiful and frank writing, I love it.

fascinating idea. Mayuri is a really complicated character. Him and Urahara definitely have a detached view on life. All hard core scientists have to i think, its like an unwritten rule.

I mean this in the best, least-insulting way as I can, but this one wasn't one of your best. It was still good, don't get me wrong, but it was kind of... o.o, maybe I'm just not in a thinking mood or something, but it was a little confusing. Though, I -did- check to see who it was about before I started reading it XD, or I would have been even more confused. It could just be that my brain is fried.

The beginning seemed a little repetitive. I also lost track of who 'he' or 'him' was at times, since I knew you had to be talking about Mayuri and Kisuke at one point or another. Then again, that's a bit of your style, not mentioning names, so I can't complain too much.

I still adore your writing, though, and much love to all of your oneshots and fics.
