That was absolutely amazing.

The characters were real, the relationships were troubled, true and touching.

It was one of those stories that while reading I had to take breaks because it made me feel so MUCH that I needed some time to absorb what had happened and clear my mind to be able to take in more. That to me is a sign of a good story, especially a good romance.

Heero and Relena's struggles particularly rang true for my own relationship, and I loved the way you dealt with Heero coming to know and love himself. Damion and Audrey tugged at my heartstrings constantly and I found myself wanting to know what was going to happen to them even more than Heero and Relena. That is amazing, I've never cared that much about Original Characters in a fan fiction before.

There were quite a few mixed up pronouns (he/she) and a few mixed up words (toe/tow), but it didn't distract from the story at all, and given how long ago it was written, I'm sure it's something you've improved upon anyway.

Good story so far. Ive enjoyed it. I keep getting all nervous about Relena and Heero. like ooooooh shit! let him speak! he's trying to say he wants to be with you forever. he wants to marry you! and she just goes putting words in his mouth. He was practically drunk, give him a break lol. Oh well. I trust that theyll get everything worked about before too long. Or i hope so. i'm scared for them as if i was apart of the relationship. It just goes to show how great of a writer you are. I enjoy your stories. I have to say you're one of my favorites.

I have just finished reading both Heart of the Sword and Temper the Soul. Needless to say it took a while, especially since I have read some of your other stories in between them. I think I've been reading nothing but your stories for a solid 3 weeks. I absolutly love everything about your writing. It gives me something to aspire to. I thought I was pretty good but you are amazing. I feel every emotion the characters go through, I see everything in perfect detail. When Manny died, I actually started crying. Keep up the wonderful work.

this is a wonderful story and Heero and Relena seem so perfect. You caught their characters as they are, you undestand them.

There really aren't any words except that it is outstanding, wonderful, and I immensely enjoyed reading it again, both this and the Heart of the Sword.

Other characters are genuine and they almost seem real.

You made me laugh and feel the dread and sadness of the situations and that's... unexplainable.

It's wonderful and I'm repeating myself, but I don't care because it's true.

I love this story and I suddenly wanted to read it again. (Though I have forgotten what's it called...)

I have to say I was surprised that you ended this story with Audrey and Damion instead of Heero and Relena. But, this (like your other stories) was an extremely well written story. Gut wrechingly beautiful comes to mind. I know there we're parts that I actually got teary eyed. The situations between Audrey and Damion we're a true to life display of raw human emotion. I loved the interaction of Heero and Relena as well as HIS character progression. Having the other Gundam pilots involved was wonderful. I absolutely love when you include them in these love stories. They give an element of surprise (at least in my mind anyway) as well as they tend to even out the reality of the story. I love when they progress as being more of friends than just comrades. I finished this story in a week because I just couldn't stop reading it once I started...I LOVE YOUR STORIES!
