LOVED it! I love the humour that your put into your stories - it's spot on - I can just see them saying things like that! Good job!

I liked the sweetness in the beginning, with Sam reading Sanskrit and Dean covering him up, making sure he's okay. After re-reading this, Sam's muttering about baseball in his sleep was a sad twist-Dean's doing his best to take care of him the way he knows how, when Sam's giving him a clue as to what's happening to him every night. I loved Mom!Dean accusing Sam of being sick and calling him out on staying up all night. It was heart-wrenching, discovering that Sam's dream wasn't even for himself, was for Dean to have a normal life. And Dean's panic when looking for Sam, then finding him being beaten with a freaking baseball bat-I love that Dean's concern is shown with his commands ("Answer me, Sam.") And I liked the simple confidence Dean had in pushing Sam toward the house to sleep. And Dean joking about Sam and Sarah. ;)

I loved this additional wrap-up of the episode. Taking care of the body in real life because of a dream-haunting spirit-interesting idea. :)

And I loved Dean's teasing at the end of the story. It is so typically Dean, for him not to tell Sam that it was his house and his kids, but rather Sam's house and kids. Perfect.

I think I've read this before but didn't realize it till I got towards the end. If it wasn't this particular story then I read someone's else story that had a similar story line about Jeremy. But I think it was this one, too concidental. Anyways good story.

Wow, if that wasn't one of the most well written, awe-inspiring pieces of fiction, just an insightful, surprising look into the brains of the Winchesters, that I have ever read, then shoot me now. Amazing and bright, in your description, I loved every single thought. It sparkled with creativity and moments that I would never have imagined for them, but that made perfect sense. I just melted when Dean realized he wasn't looking at Sam's kids, but his own, and the life Sam wished for him. That just broke my heart a little, and made me feel for Dean and Sam such deep sorrow, knowing that it will probably never be! Wonderful work :)

My biggest weakness is stories were Dean is acting all protective and big brother and Sam needs him a lot and this one was just like that and made me all happy inside and it's definitely one of my favorites. :)

I do love your tags. Great twist on the "Dream" episode - Jeremy still after Sam even in ghost form. I melted when Dean looked through the window of the house in Sam's dream - they both have lost so much in this fight to save everyone from evil. I also found it touching that Sam would dream of Dean's happiness before his own. Oh boys!

I laughed at Dean's "Celine Dion" tea - does that boy get anything right? :) Yeah, he does - he always protects his little brother. I love these references to the journals that the boys are keeping from one another. Great idea.

I loved the semi-callback to WIAWSNB with Sam's fantasy being that Dean lives a long and fufilling life and Dean pretending he didn't see it to spare Sam the awkwardness was just so Dean. This is definately a likely follow-up to DALDOM, considering after dying with that trauma as Jeremy's last mememory would definately make him vengeful spirit material.

Oh man. "...painting the car orange to disguise it in the orange groves..."

I love that Sam's dream was Dean's happiness. Oh, Winchesters. I think that was honestly my favorite part of this, short as that section was. Dean's glee at 'killing' Jeremy over and over was fun, too, if slightly more...er...macabre. Tired!Sam is a favorite of mine, as well.

(Also, Dean called Sam "Daniel Jackson." I was tired while reading this and in the middle of trying to write my first Stargate fic, so I thought I was seeing things, but no, it was really there! You totally win in every way).

Oh jeez, gotta take a moment upon rereading the first line of this fic after last night's finale...*takes moment* Okay. WOW. How do you do it every time? I've written one fic on here since joining last September, 28 chapters, very successful, and then I was DRAINED. And I still haven't filled back up! You though, you just crank these great stories out like it's nothing! *admires*

Loved this fic as I have so many of yours, another one of those tags where the issue makes such sense but you totally don't see it coming! Very clever to give both Dean and us the illusion that Sam is suffering from sleepless nights trying to break Dean's deal with the beginning scenes, when he's really suffering from sleep-FILLED nights with Jeremy invading his dreams in revenge. As I said, it makes such SENSE - we never saw Jeremy salted and burned in the show, so of course he'd come back as an angry spirit...but brilliant twist to have him act in death as he did in life - invading dreams, and moreso, having Sam not remember them upon waking.

Loved Dean immediately acting to go into Sam's dreams and help his little bro, drinking that 'Celine Dion tea', LOL! And Sam's dreams...OMG, I just wanna hug that kid! I was just so stuck on his dream of the perfect normal life - and DEAN being the recipient of it. It's so selfless and SWEET, then so SAD at the same b/c Sam himself was nowhere in the happy part of the dream (like he doesn't think he deserves it or something) and overall just so SAM that it makes my heart absolutely ache for him. And then the poor kid getting beaten like that in his own dream; then my heart was breaking for him! Guh, that whole dream scene just really got to me. In a good angsty way, LOL. Thank goodness big bro was there to come to the rescue, physically and mentally. Dean taking care of him in the aftermath when Sam was shaky and essentially out of it just made me "AWW!" all over. And then Dean's joy at realizing he had 'free target practice' in the dreamworld on Jeremy, heehee!

Then of course, great ending with the boys finally torching Jeremy's corpse, along with the adorable visual of Sam falling asleep on Dean coupled with telling fact of how Dean was ready for it and as always, was there to catch Sam when he fell. And finally, great brother moment ending with the cleansing banter and Sam pushing Dean in the pool, heehee! Awesome job yet again, looking forward to your next offering...we'll need all the quality fanfic we can get in the next four months!
