There were technically no 'talking' parts in this beginning, right? Forgive me if Pansy was speaking and I've still got yet to notice.

Do you have a beta? Or was it deliberate? Sorry if that sounds rude.

The plot looks promising, but it's not very well written. No offence, but there are lots of spelling mistakes and fact mistakes (Gryffindor, not Griffindor). I'm sure it will be a fantastic story once it has been completed and revised.
You should also read Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series if you haven't already, they are excellent and would surely inspire you as they did me - I'm currently working on my own fantasy novel.
