Just as a note, it's a pity that this fic doesn't appear when one uses the filters for Val and/or Filia ^^ maybe you could see to that? I spent a lot of time searching for Valgaav related fics before finding this one and it would be a waste for many fans not to read it ^^

One thing that threw me off just a little, just a missing letter. You mentioned her 'retched blanket', and so soon after talking about the effects the icky food had on Filia, that jumped out at me. It's spelled right, but the definition for that spelling isn't the one you want. It's wretched. ^_^

But it's a lovely story and I want more! ::bounce:: You have more soon, yes? I want to know what happens next!!! ^_^

If Filia doesn't call Val her son, then I suppose there is no reason for feelings not to develop. In another fave story of mine on here, Modern Day or something, Val is raised as Filia's son. That story works just as well too.

Wow it's been ages since I've gone in and read a slayers story.... Ages since I've read this actually... I had almost given up that you wouldn't post, BUT I am very pleased to see you've gotten so far since my last review.

I've really enjoyed this story and am enjoying the tension between Xellos and Filia. It makes for an interesting read. Now is Val going to meet up with Lina so he doesn't get his arse completely kicked? It would make for an interesting meeting. Jo-sama meeting Lina and all... Is he going to discover/develop his powers in the "final battle" as some people call it? Well don't stop updating this story, I'll throttle you if you do ^_~
