Just as a note, it's a pity that this fic doesn't appear when one uses the filters for Val and/or Filia maybe you could see to that? I spent a lot of time searching for Valgaav related fics before finding this one and it would be a waste for many fans not to read it

One thing that threw me off just a little, just a missing letter. You mentioned her 'retched blanket', and so soon after talking about the effects the icky food had on Filia, that jumped out at me. It's spelled right, but the definition for that spelling isn't the one you want. It's wretched. _

But it's a lovely story and I want more! ::bounce:: You have more soon, yes? I want to know what happens next! _

If Filia doesn't call Val her son, then I suppose there is no reason for feelings not to develop. In another fave story of mine on here, Modern Day or something, Val is raised as Filia's son. That story works just as well too.
