This was a great and completely wonderful story!! Snapegirl done a great job, and I'm glad that you decided to post it on here for all of us to read!!

I really, really like this story... but... you have the personification of their ages off. They're supposedly 14, but you have them acting and treated like they're closer to 8. Such as Severus carrying Harry on his hip in chapter 14. You don't carry a teenage boy on your hip. The fact that Harry is just so... naive. None of this adds up to 14 year olds. Maybe if you had set it at the summer after their first year, this wouldn't read so awkwardly, but this is just a hard sell.

This was excellent. Not the normal boring SNAPE IS REALLY MY DAD stuff. Also, good work on keeping the angst under control. I love the manor and even your OCs are cool.

Okay, I was going to wait until I read the whole thing before I reviewed but I wanted to bring up some stuff. What made me laugh for unknown reasons: 'but the couch was in the way'; 'like the Angel of Death'. Also, I wonder about how the heck Severus could have slammed Vernon against the wall. As far as I know, Severus is normal weight but Vernon is at least the size of a large piano. ;D

Anyway, on to commenting about the actual story. XP The Dragon's Wild game was amusing, though the nightmare was definitely a good way to start to get those two to see each other as more than rivals...finally. Oh, and is this before or after Voldie's return? I keep getting confused...

Ok, considering the blood magic that protects Harry, I can pretty much accept the no-harm spell, but the personality altering one? Well...considering Confundus and what not...I suppose its not completely ridiculous...just...pushing it a bit. >.<
Anyway, the rest of the chappie was good. :D I always found it odd that their treatment of Harry was never quite repaid, regardless of how it must have annoyed them to be in the care of two wizards. XP
