I really like how you portrayed L's past. From the hug Lucifer gave him, to their secret hideout, to L's confusion on how to react to feelings and of course, how his amazing genius was discovered. You nailed it perfectly!

The ending was great as well. How you incorporated Kira to all of this was awesome~ Great job! :D

Oh, that's true I guess. Anyway, I wish it had gone on longer, Lucifer leaving only a chapter later was saddening D:

But you turned it out well anyway, I see what you mean about not really liking the afterword...It didn't really fit as well, but that's a cool idea. Maybe you could turn that into a story as a spin-off to this one somehow? I dunno, just a thought. Now off to read your newest one~

Only conflict I can think of is L saying that Light was his first friend, but it's still nice to have him have a friend like that. =D Looking forward to the next chapter~ Want to see L's IQ test.

That was a really perfect way to have L's backstory. I know you didn't love it as much as the one you wrote about L's last day, but I thought it was really well written and you easily explained a lot of L's habits and how he got his name. I honestly can't think of how I would rather have it then like that, though it's sad, it fits perfectly...

PS - Don't you just want to pick up tiny L and give him a hug and tell him everything will be okay? x3
