This was almost the first Stargate fanfic I read and still one of my all time favourites. It is intelligently written, always true to the characters, interesting and moving. This story reaches a standard I rarely see in other fanfics.

This was my favorite Daniel/Vala story i have read so far. The characterization was just beautiful and perfect. I loved that you stayed entirely within cannon, but added so much more depth to each scene/episode. And Danny the giraffe is just awesome. Great job!

Oh, that was lovely! You, my dear, are such a powerful writer! That story had me, honestly, in tears. I don't usually like SG-1 fics, but this one was definitely an exception! Perfect 10, for sure.

I just finished reading this and it's beautiful. I love how you captured both of their personalities and didn't overwhelm with back story. This literally brought me to tears by the end by how great the writing was and the emotions it conveyed. Great job!

This was a really interesting idea that you brought completely full circle. What a success! I enjoyed all of the scenarios and missing peeks that you explored. They were all so believable and I liked the understated quality that you gave them so it seemed to meld so well with canon. I enjoyed reading this very much.

Sweet ending to an enjoyable series of tags. Yes, Daniel does respond to Vala's vulnerability. Even if he's the one who creates it. Liked the 'messing with me' reversal.

Have Girrafe, will travel. That little stuffed toy has had it's use and what a lifeline for Vala and Daniel both. I'm sure their friends have noticed the attachement Vala has had for the little fella, but I think Teal'c has some hint of knowing it's brought Vala and Daniel together somehow. But all in all thru the moments in their life, that little stuffed Giraffe has affected Vala the most I think. The memories it will incur of Adria, and especially Daniel and his comfort in knowing the Giraffe will always be a part of their lives no matter what. :D

That was an excellent ending for this story. I particularly enjoyed Teal'c's assesment, at the end, of the ineviditability of Daniel and Vala finding each other.

Also quite enjoyed Daniel's thoughts on Vala and how their experiences with SG-1 were extremely similar.

Anyways, this was really quite an enjoyable story. Hope to see more from you in the future!

Of, such a painful chapter. Not to read of course because your writing is absolutely stellar, but the emotions you pull out of the reader...wow. The foreboding feeling cuz we know what's coming, the temporary joy while we just live with DV in the moment, then the crushing anguish and the chilling sadness of the last paragraph...again, just wow. I can't wait for the next chapter.

Dude! You tackled THE scene! And you did a great job, kudos! ^_^ Vala's sadness and confusion were almost tangible in your writing I have to say I loved the making up part ^_~

Absolutely fantastic chapter! I love how you wrote Cameron, his reaction, his thoughts, his actions with Vala, it's all so IC for him! Congrats, cuz not many people can write him well! ^_^ Vala's exploration and sleep-time was heartbreaking and Daniel's realizations were heartwarming. I can't wait to find out if he gives Danny back to her! ^_^
