There are two kinds of story that I find impossibly difficult to review: those that are so bad that there is too much to say, and those that are so good that there are no words to describe it. I think the tears on my face and the pain in my chest can attest to which of those this story is.

Congratulations for somehow capturing raw emotion in simple human words. I... can't really say anything else, except thank you for an even more perfect ending to Number Twenty Eight.

Tears are officially streaming down my face! Poor Edward! Poor Mustang! Poor Mary and poor little pup! This was an amazing fiction, as was 'Number Twenty Eight.' Great job!

I'm in love with this story. I've read it more than six different times and I just wish more people knew about it!

You are the best writer in the universe. o_o
I mean it. You've had me bawling like a baby.
This is wonderful, in a twisted sort of way...

...I know you've just heard from me (and if you haven't read that yet, please do go read my other review first), but just... wow.

It's true that Twenty Eight did have an epilogue, that it did technically tie up most of the loose ends, but this was simply... I couldn't tear my eyes from the screen while I was reading this, and now they seem either a bit dry or a bit damp, I'm a but too overwhelmed to really care right now. I had the feeling that the information would have to do with his twisted chimera family somehow, and it is nice for Ed to actually know the girl whom he conceived with, and that poor, poor chimera puppy, if it's not weird enough to call it that. But it had to be done. It was shocking and sudden, but that wouldn't have been a good life for it, living in a glass case, being watched while you tried to move, if you even could move...

And the total breakdown that never quite happened in Twenty Eight happened, and I feel that really NEEDED to, of all things. I honestly can't describe how... completely stunning that was. I'm speechless, and yet still typing, because you... just... did this so well, and I feel compelled to tell you that which I truly hope you already know.

Also, a tip of my hat to those small details: the kiss of the wind, the kiss on the side of the head, the blowing up of a chimera puppy. All very graphic, very good, very... very... nicely done.

Heh, and as I'm called for dinner, I'll leave you with that. But again, I give you my compliments, and my thanks for tying up these loose ends and adding just a little more to the Twenty Eight story. Best of luck with future writing endeavors you take on, my dear, though I am very, strongly sure you don't need it.

I got really into this. Twice I totally drew back from my computer and gasped and went "WHAT?!".

You are so good at holding suspense and keeping the story unpredictable. Absolutely amazing. Wow Wow Wow Wow WOW!

So sad and so fantastic!

Bravo!

Oh, sorry that I didn't login before... sorry.

Oh? A one-shot? *Reads it*

Wow... *Dries tears* You are SUCH a fantasic author! You really, really, are! I have this no-crying rule when I read things and... I just demolished it. Completly demolished it.

But really, you are now my role modle. One day i wish to be as good as you. You capture their personaltys perfectly and the emotions are just so... real!

Normaly, I don't read one-shots. I love lots of words, lots of chapters and very long chapters.

only word. wow. I read Number Twenty Eight, and it was just unbelievably amazing. The characters were very well defined, and it was very visual. The writing was also fluid, unlike my own, and easy to follow. Got really, really in to, and this is a very fitting ending for the whole thing xD

Keep writing, and your artwork is very beautiful xD

Well...at least I can type better now! No more stiff fingers, but my heart, and mind, and eyes alike are so...clouded after that..I can just see that poor little..."child" looking at Ed, brain dead and in loose pain, I'm sure

Oi...just when I thought I could go to sleep after my nice bath, and good lovely movie...I see that you had this, and just COULDN'T sleep until I read it...now, crying and almost sure to have nightmares...I'm starting to think I should had waiting until daylight...

I just love the father son thing you have with Roy and Edward! Almost all the good stories I read with him and Roy, are yaoi...which, I love, yes, but I also love a good, down to Earth, believable story such as this :3

...I can see Edward being a little OC...bug GOD that kid goes through a lot, without fans forcing him into things like...like...THIS. I love this...but it twist my in sides D:

...very badly...which means I love it..

God I can't stop crying...

I kind of suspected there might be a surviving pup, but I didn't expect Ed's reaction to it. Very dramatic. Poor puppy...
