Hey GC this was really great written, now the Kat bashing am with you on that one, except The Rocky x Kat I just don't see that happening. Now I am a die hard Tommy x Kim. But Tommy can also be with Kat or Hayley, but never with Kira, they have the same kind of relation as Zordon and his first chosen.

On another note I am planing on creating my first PR fic and It start after the letter am still not sure weather to leave it as a Kim x Tommy or OC for both of them.

While many Tommy/Kim reunion fics just follow the same boring old plot (with variations), there are at least a few where the author shows some creativity. And I hate Kat bashing. I prefer Tommy/Kat anyway.

Oh, and tell Tommy that Rita wants him if he's available. Zedd's just not doing it for her anymore. :)

Good points, but I'm not sold on the fact it had Tommy's voice, you know what I mean, like sounded like the letter was written by him.

So the Uber Cup final gave you the inspiration to write this eh? I just hope it happened the same way with me *grin* Go China Go Go! :D

Anyway, of course, as a diehard TommyKim fan, and you've already known how much I adore that couple, this story meant that somehow TK aren't together. In my head I always think they 'are' together.. As for Katherine, 'Tommy''s words kinda hit home since I have to admit I'm one of those people who wrote a not very good stuff about her, which I honestly regret, that's why I'm stuck in continuing that particular fic of mine.

But I have to say that in fanfictions anything could happen, that's what I love about it most. All that aside, the idea was brilliant and of course, you, my sis could have thought of that :)

you do make some good points, like there are way too many stories where kim wrote the letter because she was pregnant or raped, and there never was another guy. and how kat is often portrayed as a manipulative **. and i know you said it was only your opinions and stuff, but your ridiculing other peoples idea's. fanfiction is fanfiction, stories written by fans, there are no guidelines, and you dont really have the right to say these stories are not plausible

especially when you go on to talk about how tommy and kat broke up and how shes with rocky. in my opinion, thats less probable than a tommy/kim/kat reunion fic

when was there ever any hint of chemistry between kat and rocky?
and since when did tommy even break up with kat, just because she didnt appear in dino thunder? you never see kira's mother in dino thunder, are we to assume she doesnt have a mother?

and you shouldnt make fun of tommy kira relationships, cause by doing that you insult tommy/kira shippers and writers

not that im a tommy/kat or a tommy/kira fan, im a big tommy/kim fan, i just dont think you should shoot down other peoples ideas and stories and pretty much saying your idea is what happened, even if it is your opinion

Nicely written. And I must admit I am a tommy/kim fic writer. Well I have only written one PR fic so far and am currently working on a sequel to it. I still don't see the need to Kat bashing I personally had always been a fan of the Billy/Kat pairing since I could see some interests there during Zeo. Next thing you know people will be bashing that pro skier Heather who Tommy tried to date at one point after the letter from Kim. So again very well written and I look forward to more stories from you.

This was well done and makes a few good points, but once you get to Tommy/Kat, well, since we don't know what happens there it becomes less a funny look at Tommy-writers and more your opinion about Tommy/Kat and where it is now. In that regard Tommy/Kim could be back together, lol. Overall some things said here needed to be said and this was damn original. It makes me want to consider a letter to Tommy from TK writers *wink* All in all I enjoyed this. Bravo.

I agree with a lot of what was said in this letter. Especially the part about Kat cause she deserves way more respect than this fandom gives her. Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem with the Tommy/Kim reunions fics if they would just write them in a way that there was no need for Kat bashing. And write them in a way that made sense instead of the endless over used plots. I could go on about that subject but I think I said enough in my profile. Very good fic, and yay for you having the guts to write it.

Wow, this was definitely a different look at things. I like how you wrote things in a nice way, but in a very upfront and honest as well. Great job on bringing up the things that are done with him.

Where as some of the things I don't quite agree on, I still think you did a good job with this.

This is beyond brilliant! I've been wanting to say stuff like this to some of the fic writers for years. Half of the reasons why I don't read Kim/Tommy fics is because they bash Katherine and she's one of my favorite characters. And Kira/Tommy ... just ... ew...she's 18 or 19 and he's 27 or 28. Ok..I'm ending my ranting.
