Something like this actually happened to author David Sedaris. He wasn't in drag but he was on the Metro in Paris when he overheard a couple of American tourists talking rather loudly about the other people in the car including himself without realizing that he was American or that many of the French in Paris understand English at least well enough to know when they are being mocked. Unlike Jak he didn't get in their face. He did do a nationally aired radio piece on This American Life making fun of them though.

This is a good character piece and a nice slice of daily life for Jak and Ban.

again a good story and realistic too. there are too many people out there who keep judging by their own shallow opinions. i've had it too, and it's irritating. but yay for Jakotsu for keeping his cool

lol Love it! I'm not a big fan of Jakotsu-x-Bankotsu but this was great. Especially the rumored break-up. lol But what's sad is, I can't picture Jakotsu in men's clothing. (No offence to him, of course.) N E Way Great Story!
