Are you doing another Chapter? It's a great plot, and you have wonderful grammar, spelling, punctuation etc.

Nice scene - very in character, especially Emmett. I think how she felt would've hurt him (of course he'd know it wasn't intentional), but he would also want her to be happy, and since he is a man of action, this is just how he would respond. Well done! :)
