Interesting look into Saren's motivation and the powerlessness that all Sovereign's victims felt. Good work.

This is the first ME fic I've read - and I quite like it. I imagined Sovereign's voice to be less ordered, more chaotic, but I can't say I don't like what you've done - treating it like a slow conversion, until he was already in too deep to get out, rather than knowing what he was getting into.

Interesting glimpse into Saren's character, and taking a look into how Sovereign interacts with him is very bold for something that isn't explored much in-game. There's one minor issue; according to canon, Saren had a brother who was killed in the First Contact War. The daft thing is that Bioware's Codex doesn't mention it and the first book... well, it never says whether his brother was younger/older, and has somewhat two-dimensional character development. Anyway, its a good start, and I hope you continue. :-)

That was a really interesting look at a character that isn't explored nearly as much as he should be. Thanks for sharing. :)
