I loved the first paragraph where Rukia was thinking about Ichigo. I think everyone enjoys being protected once in a while, even the people with the most independence and pride (like Rukia). So it was nice that she admitted to enjoying it (even if it was unsettling).

Hehe, not only does it pay to be short while walking through that wild garden of Byakuya's, but I'd guess it pays to be on Byakuya's good side too. Given that some of the plants would attack them if they weren't guests, and seeing how Ichigo is the only one getting whacked with branches and attacked by bees, I'd say the plants realize Byakuya doesn't like him! :P

::falls off chair laughing:: Oh that was great watching Byakuya actually lose his temper like that! If anyone could rile him up enough to act like he did when he was younger, it would be Ichigo! And then Ichigo goes and says he and Rukia are betrothed, when mere seconds before he was panicking about exactly that! So hilarious!

And then the scene with the elders! I feel bad for laughing so hard, given how hard it would be for Byakuya to marry anyone other than Hisana! But the misunderstanding was just too funny not to laugh!

Aw, and half-asleep Toushirou stumbling over telling Hinamori just how strong his feelings for her are was just too cute! And then to be followed by such a powerful and passionate kiss! I just hope Hinamori doesn't get so carried away that she misses Renji and Isane's duel! Plus, what a waste of that breakfast she made, letting it get cold! :P Just kidding, obviously this was way more important! :D

Well, again, I'm sorry it took me so long to review these two chapters, and I can't wait until the next one!

Oh man, I am incredibly sorry about how long it's been since I reviewed this story! And just when you came to the IchiRuki chapters, too! ::sigh:: I kinda lost interest in Bleach over the summer (or rather I was distracted by various other interests), and stopped reading fics. And then I got super busy with work, and had no time... Well, I'll do my best not to let myself be this slow on the next chapter that comes out!

Hehe, Rukia's nervousness, Ichigo's reaction to it, and then his near panic when he finds out the reason was great! ::grin:: And I agree with Rukia, Byakuya really doesn't know what he's getting into, confronting Ichigo like this!

Lol, I liked Momo's amusement with Renji too. Of course, when she said that challenging a girl to a fight isn't really what a girl is looking for on a first date, my first thought was that maybe Tatsuki would expect/want that. But Isane certainly wouldn't, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how that relationship works out! Isane/Renji is such a fresh and original idea! ::snicker:: And I couldn't stop grinning at all the times Hinamori repeated "graciously" to Renji.

And the confrontation with Hitsugaya was both funny and incredibly cute. Poor Renji, though. Everytime Hitsugaya calmed down, either he or Hinamori said something that riled him right back up again! :)

I can't wait to see the relationship talks, both Hinamori and Hitsugaya's, and Ichigo, Rukia, and Byakuya's!

I don't typically read this pairing, as I am not overly fond of it, however, someone pointed this out to me as having good character development, and so far of what I've seen, they are right. I loved the detail too, and how you didn't clump discription, and showed the reader instead of telling. I look foward to more chapters, but as I wish to give your story the effort it diserves in reading it, I am going to hold off until I have more time. Thanks!

the ichigo byakuya showdown didn't go exactly how I thought it would. It was better, especially Byakuya's little surprise from the elders. And OMG Shiro-chan was so cute when he confessed. Can't wait for the next chapter, I hope its about Renji and Isane cuz Isane is gonna rule over Renji

I've been wanted to reveiw this story for AGES but due to a problem with my computer, I've been unable to sign into my account. But now I can --obviously-- and I can only say WOW.

I absolutely love this story; I love the characterization, I love the writing style, I love the plot, and I love the subtle (and not so subtle) humor! One of the best stories I've read in a while, and one of the few that've actually made me smile when I saw that it was updated. I had actually been busy rereading it when the latest chapter was added, and I actually squealed (squealed!) when I saw it.

Again-- love it, love you in an entirely non-creepy way, and know that I eagerly await any new update, for either of your stories!
