Aw, lovely Heero/Duo-ness. I just eat that stuff right up! I like the bits of conflict, even among a group that shares a common goal. It's the path TO the goal they seem at odds about. Hopefully they can reach an agreement--a plan they can all support--preferably before Khushrenada makes a move, hm? Can't wait for more.

You keep managing to come up with perfect lines in just about every chapter. This one really stood out for me:
"Enough," Heero repeated. "I want to see one face, not two, Duo. Tell me."
Heero really has moments of insight--where he phrases things so appropriately that you just have to say "wow." And I thought that was one.
The whole chapter was great--but that interlude with Duo and Heero seemed particularly well done. I just loved it.
So--looking forward to more.

I've gotta say, the quote in this story that just MAKES it for me is:
"Demons face me, Heero Yuy. They face me."
That is just an awesome line for Duo--so forbidding and hinting at so much power. Just, cool as all Hell.
Of course the rest of the story is wonderful...this latest chapter frought with tension. But for me, that line stood out among them all as one of the best!
