| Delusional Illusionist 2008-05-30 ch 1, | abuseI really do like it. The song was a good choice. It fits the story well. I thought Jude was out of character at first, but then realized that he really wasn't. He always tends to run from his problems right at first. |

| TakeMeOrLeaveMe2010 2008-05-25 ch 1, | abuseOh, so many lovely things in this fic. And I'm going to try to give you a good review, because I haven't in a while (sorry, school. But it's finally over now!!). I'll be honest. I was a little wary with the first little vignette because I thought Lucy and Jude's positions on Max should've been switched around. It was still wonderfully written, of course, but I wasn't quite sure how this was going to be. But, knowing you and your wonderful writing, I continued. How glad I am that I did. What I said above was such a stupid comment. Everyone was beautifully in character from then on. I loved how Jude's trying, but he just can't seem to find it. This line was particularly good: "Jude, you want Max back. The happy-go-lucky guy. But you need to get it through your head that he no longer exists. We have to take care of the Max we have now. And you're afraid if you actually talk to him, you'll have to acknowledge the fact that he's not the same, and that kills you inside." That whole conversation was amazingly well-written, but that line stuck out to me the most. As did this one: "Because I'm Max, and you're Jude, and that's how we work." Just lovely, lovely work here. Keep it up, luv. ~KT |
