Well, I like Ash a lot. I even have info of why people hate him. Usually, it's team rocket fans who are angry at Ash because he prevents TR from stealing Pokemon that he or other trainers caught. Usually, Team Rocket Fans are complete gits and don't have a life so I advise you to ignore them, delete anonymous reviews supporting them and block TR fans who are members of this site from sending you reviews.

I have to say, I agree with what Anti-Ash Member and Sunlight Rocket said. TR have been through so much, and Ash hates them so much that, as AAM said, he stops them when trying to catch wild pokemon! I did feel a tiny bit sorry for pikachu, though. I still think he's overrated. I mean, an UNEVOLVED, poemon with no high stats, whose only claim to fame is supposedly being "loyal"? It's not the species, it's the personality!

That wasn't pleasent to read. I, for one, like Ash. Yes, I like the REAL Ash, not the boring idiot that's in the show currently. Back in Season 1, Ash was an entertaining main character. He was stupid alot but he's not truly dumb. He can be quite a smart guy if he tries to be. And he's not a complete failure. The show just handles him that way at times. And ugly? Not really.

I like how you support Ash and hate his bashers, but this doesn't really do much. If anything, this would make Ash haters happy. You wrote Ash as a weak hearted fool. I'd like to see him stronger, someone who wouldn't believe what everyone said. He should laugh in the basher's faces, not weep because of their lies. And he should NOT kill himself despite what his best friend Pikachu is telling him!
In reality (if you could call it that), Ash has a strong will. In this fanfiction, Ash had a weak enough will to commit suicide. May Yevon be with him.

I agree! Ash isn't stupid, he's accually very smart, he can be clueless somtimes (but that just makes him better! I don't like know-it-alls anyways) ... This is a great way to get your point across.

I will admit, he used to be dense at the start, but he hasn't done anything really stupid since... boy, I can't remember when, but it was long long LONG ago (like, before he got his 4th Badge).
I do have an idea for an angsty sequel where Misty kills herself in response to Ash killing himself, but... I'm not that kind of writer.

ash is a jerk. poor team rocket has had it rough, and though they are the 'villains' you have to realize where they are coming from. Musashi (jessie)was born into poverty, and she probably had no where else to turn to besides team rocket (her mom was a member of team rocket, for those who don't know). and who would expect kojirou (james) to go back to living with that whip-wielding jerk back home? team rocket is not all bad. they're fairly decent people caught in a bad situation. there are many times when they've help out ash-tachi. but even when team rocket is just trying to take wild pokemon, ash will still sick pikachu on them. it's happened numerous times.
just because you guys like ash doesn't mean everyone else should. i have my reasons for not liking him, and i'm just stating an opinion. it's not like i go around to ash-fans and talk crap about him. i like team rocket, i dislike ash. there's no reason i can't dislike him, and if you dislike a character, fine. don't try to change others' opinions

I agree wholeheartedly. Here's a suggestion: you should try something similar with other characters that have similar hardships. Like Davis Motomiya of Digimon.

I agree, Ash is so not stupid or a nusence! Ash is sweet and caring. I don't like to trash about characters because it is not fair to the people who do like that character. I still might not like a few charachters in random shows but I don't talk about him in that way. If people don't like someone they shouldn't have anything to do with them, because many people may like that person.
