This has GOT to be one of the best House fics I've ever read! It preserves the feel of the original monologue while being entirely relevant to the House universe. And totally snarky and House-like; I admit, I was chuckling.

Dear God that was funny! I just heard his voice through the whole thing and when I reached the bottom I was waiting for Foreman to say, "House, are you gonna take the case or not?" Then there'd be a pause where he pretended to think about it, say, "yeah." And walk out of the clinic before he ever reached his first patient.
