Holy s*. Jeez, I can't even begin to explain to you what reading this did to me. I am...speechless.

This was such an incredible idea for Blue's backstory. It was so detailed and believable, it could be canon. I love how you explain all of his little personality quirks as ways of him coping with/covering up what he's really dealing with on the inside. I always kind of thought Blue was a little too cheery and that maybe he was hiding something. I was going to write a bit of it into my fic, but I probably won't now that you've already done it. And done it beautifully at that. I swear, your descriptions and characterization just get better and better each time you update one of your stories. I just love it. Your descriptions of battle scenes and emotional turmoil put my heart in a vice. It's so heartbreaking to read. And so REAL.

I also liked how he picked his 'new name'. So sad that he lost the love of his life.

I liked the recurrence of his 'shaking hands' and how he constantly has to make sure one of those shaky spells don't hit him on the battlefield, even though the battle itself is causing all of those painful memories to surface in the first place. What a terrible cycle. Poor Blue. D:

This has so many amazing elements I don't even know where to start...the one that hit me the hardest was your take on the origin of Bluestreak's name. *shivers* He has always seemed like such a unique mech in the role of sharpshooter...he is the Hamlet of TFs...forced to sink to the level of his enemies and do what he loaths...killing and killing and more killing when all he wants is a good night's rest without dreams. "To sleep perchance to dream...but what dreams may come...?" He's dying and the rest are cheering their victory...This is beautiful in such a sad tragic way =(

That ending was incredible. So nice and reflective of their relationhip.

This is stunning! The reader is drawn into experience TC's agony and dispair and loss and suffering. It's compelling in its poetry, so much so that I am still trying to catch my breath as a result. And his final plunge of agony creates such an image in my mind "the air rippling over his wings like icy fire" as if an angel falling from grace, or Icarus who dared to fly too close to the sun and watched his world come crashing down. The friction fire cleasing his shell, literally, and yet it is only bits of sky sliced by his own wings as he falls. And his redemption comes from an unlikely but very familiar source. Beautiful agony interspersed with the perfect song for the mood and nature of the piece. I'm dubbing this "A Seeker's Requiem"

I'm really starting to like TC more and more. When I read this I can really feel the war going on inside of him.

I think I just cried on the inside. That was sad that Jazz died and then Rachel dies. But I was happy that they got to be together in the end.
