Hiya! Back to ffn after a long absence... and wow, you've not lost your touch :) I have to admit to being slightly drawn to DoctorDonna as a pairing, and this fic illustrates why perfectly. Love it. Characterisation is spot on!

I absolutely loved this piece. My sister and dad both hate Donna, citing that she's unattractive and looks to be seventy to David Tennants fourteen, but I completely disagree. I love Donna! She's absolutely hilarious, and the finale just tore my heart out of my chest and stomped on it, quite cruelly I might add.

In any case, I loved this. The dialogue and characterization were spot on, and just love the added "space man" quips and such. Incredibly delightful.

um, hate to point this out, but it was Agatha Christie not Jane Austin (see I LIKE reading Agatha Christie and I'd rather DIE than read Jane Austin! easy to remember!)(for me)(LOL!)

Amazing. I loved it. I'm not too big of a fan of any Ten/Donna stuff but yours was awesome and perfect. I loved their dialogue, it was definitely very them. And meeting Jane Austen...that would have been amazing. And the ending with the lake scene...that was a great reference to the movie. So, yeah, basically, everything was perfect. The characterization and dialogue. And I liked how you summed up all the normal alien-invasion stuff in like two seconds. It was cute.
I take it that the "her" the Doctor missed so much was Rose, right? I'm probably just being stupid asking that, but in the wake of the finale and all the Rose-bashing/adoring it's been hard to tell who's on what side (I'm on the fence--I don't really care xDD). Fandom sucks xD
Anyway, amazing job, I loved it.

Excellent story, I almost wish you could have tried a Jane Austen characterization, but that knowing sort of grin I could guess would be just like her. Nice details as well, especially with the mention of Cassandra at least-and, of course, the Doctor and Donna! They were just great there, you certainly got them down to a 'T', an excellent little story!

I have to tell you, I have never watched Dr. Who, nor had I ever watched How I met your mother when I read your 3 fics about it. But now, reading this, you make the characters sound so interesting and funny and charming that it really makes me want to go and watch these shows!
Your writing is simply amazing, you have the knack of catching the essence of a character, their psychology and personnality.
And those reference to Jane Austen were hilarious!
