Great short story! I can certainly understand what that is like. Been there before, done that. I am glad that I nolonger have to be sad and alone at holidays. Once again you have given ficional characters so much life!

I absolutely love this one! The understated affection between Race and Jessie is amazing. It never fails to amaze me on how you can convey such poignant moments, even in vignettes.
