Aw, such a cute story! I love them all. Tough Sunstreaker in love and too socially inept to show it in a way that won't freak Hound out. Hound... well, freaked out, and who wouldn't be with the Twins reputation? And Sideswipe, the exasperated, yet protective and supportive brother. So adorable!

I really love how Sunny is tentatively and shyly (well, shy in his very own way, hehe) building a friendship with Hound. And Sideswipe testing whether Hound is really "good enough" for his brother, aw! Although I worry now that Sideswipe might think Hound turned him down because he likes Sunstreaker. If he encourages Sunny to confess already at this point, I'm worried Hound will freak or think the last months were an elaborate cruel prank.

This is a cute story, well thought out and nicely written. I like your sentence style and hope to read further chaps in the future :)

Anyway! Yeah, was just going through my inbox (been doing that for a few days now...), cleaning things out and organizing into folders, and ran into the alert for chapter three of this. Couldn't remember how far I'd read, though I knew I'd at least gotten to chapter two, so went ahead and re-read that one before continuing on. Seems I'd gotten all the way to this one, but a re-read isn't bad. XD 'Specially when you're waiting for more chapters to come.

The character interpretations, wording, and atmosphere are good all around. Difficult Things is definitely one of my favorite fan fictions. I guess the only thing I’m circumspect of is the possible pairing of both the twins and Hound. I’m not one for a “threesome”. Or, do you mean to denote that Sideswipe will only be keeping an eye on Sunstreaker and Hound’s burgeoning friendship?

Sorry, if this sounds like a silly question, but sometimes it’s hard for me to ascertain what authors are aiming for in their stories.

i had to get a new profile because my old one had complications. so i cut everyting off from that one. sorry about that. but it looks like they're doing good on getting closer to hound. baby steps but i'm sure the twins aren't complaining. good job. update soon please.

I'm really loving this, especially Hound's confusion and Sunstreaker's awkward cluelessness. I'm a little curious about Sideswipe though. Is he tagging along to make sure Sunstreaker doesn't mess this up? Like the "test" at the end too.

This was once again a lovely piece of fic, not to mention cute. And nerve wracking. I'd like to shake some sense into Sunny, but that would fail epically.

The fact that Sides had a 'kind' smile, makes me wonder if the offer of doing something else was a test of sorts. If Hound had jumped at the chance to be with him, then what would that have done to Sunny. Maybe he was just making sure that Hound had friendship in mind, at least at first.
I am enjoying this story.

Oh I absolutely love the character interaction! It's so spot on! Sunstreaker's awkward, halting efforts at making an actual friend, and Hound's slightly nervous attitude towards him, are great. It's so nice to see a fic where it's taking time for a relationship to build, especially between two unlike mechs. There are too many fics (Sunny/Blue and Prowl/Jazz, mostly), where things move so fast you can barely catch a glimpse before they're gone. Things move abnormally quickly, for relationships that should be taking time, as all relationships with Sunstreaker and/or Prowl will. There needs to be the slow, tentative, slightly awkward portion where mechs get a feeling for each other, not everyone is going to make fast-friends instantly.

And you pull off the awkward, early stage perfectly. It's so nice to see Hound and Sunstreaker's relationship evolve as it is, and I can't wait for more!
