How strange, I could've sworn I had reviewed this at some point...I guess not.

I really can't help but sigh in contentment when I read DN characters being connected with the idea of being children. With all the death in the series, innocence seems so far away, but I suppose the characters were young once.

"...but now there's one big boy and two dead ones."

The impact of that one line hit me hard. No big words, nothing particularly remarkable to its structure, etc. It was stark, it was blunt, it was brilliant.

Short...short and sad. Beautifully written though. It sounds almost like a song. Wonderfully done.
