Delusional Illusionist 2008-05-30 . chapter 1Oh my god . . . you just made me see Max and Lucy's father as a human being . . . honestly, it had never even occurred to me to go farther into the Carrigan's history. In fact, I almost stopped reading when I realized that's who this story was about. I'm glad I didn't. Very glad. This was worth it. Plus, you're a good writer. |
angel718 2008-05-28 . chapter 1My God. You're one of few who can make me pity Max's father. It explains so much about his reactions to things, the way he is in general...it's genius. Absolutely genius. And it's a unique idea, and really well written. (As per usual. :))
Just out of curiosity, did you get my pm, or did I forget to send it? |
Bookish0278 2008-05-28 . chapter 1DAMN!! that was good! and, i dunno if you saw this, but it related Jude and max, who normally are very different together. Both have fathers in WWII who had to leave for the war, only one came back. Max's obviously. I love the ending, how kids(and parents) forget that each other understands, or how to remember what it was like whne they were young. I loved every word.
I like thecarrigans, the movie doesn't go much into them, so there is a a lot of leeway for creative ideas, like this. |
