This is incredible. You've created such a complicated and tragic history and portrayed it in so few words. And the premise itself was so original! A lot of Bleach stories (even the good ones, sometimes) fall back on the same basic premises, so reading this was a real experience. It's great to see such a unique vision.

_ That was devastatingly extraordiary. The unfolding of events and the "Truth" through all the deception was so well done! It was like you could go on forever, deeper and deeper through an abyss of all the truths, leading to one end.
It was so scary and led to so many "what ifs". It was also original, so realistic, so BAM this is the truth, this is it, take it or leave it. But with your writing, you just couldn't leave it, even though you know there won't be a "happy ending".
The ending, of course, was not happy but I believe that it is a representation of not only Rukia and how she's not okay, but of the reader and how they feel after you ended it like that.
So am I okay?

God, that was all just...just so SAD. Just...you started with Rukia and just whacked us with more tragedy teh further we went. Yuzu...Karin...Hikari...and then the last straw was the lie about the other child, just...wow. If I were slightly more masochistic, I would wish this would happen in the series JUST SO I COULD BAWL AND BAWL IF KUBO DID IT. Because I would. I'd cry tears of blood and everything, the whole shebang.

Ack! That's so sad! The ending made me cry.
I'm not a fan of horrible endings, but it was nicely written. I especially liked how the mood/emotions progressed during the conversation between Ichigo and Rukia.

damn. it tore my heart just to read that. but it was good all the same. it's just so sad. (tears) literally. gosh. sad. this is a real tragedy.

well, that explains what happened to ichigo... and her poor daughter! didn't think of it being able to spread that way... like a disease... very interesting concepts here... and of course terribly heartbreaking... though she did manage to lie in all the right places.

but no, it was a good ending. at least, for what you were aiming for... anyway, quite lovely dear, in a dark sort of way...*loves*

it are teh awesomexxors. much diff. from your other stuff, which generally mixes humor in with it... also, it just has a totally diff. feel... hm... if i figure out why, i'll let you know, lol.

i like the mystery of it... and the way it rather combines with tragedy. it's both emotional, angsty, and intriguing. lovely dear!

The hopeless did work, I think. I liked the effect (Well, the writing and how emotional it was; not necessarily how sad I am now I'm not that sadistic). Awesome job, as always!
