I was skimming and happened to come across this story. So right, for any number of fandoms, and SO DARN FUNNY!

Death to Sues!

HAHA! That was brilliant! Gary Stu/Mary Sue finding their way into the story, that's worse than the hag and werewolf!

These were my favorite parts:

“You believe in us, don't you Caspian dear? You know we're right... how can you deny your true love?”

Oh, just wonderful.

In that instant Peter recognized the threat. With a whispered, “Dear Aslan, not again,” he burst through the door, a livid Edmund and rather confused but still ready to fight Trumpkin not far behind.

Edmund was standing over the crumpled form of the girl, holding a rather thick book in his hands. Peter's opponent lost all interest in the duel, shouting out a prolonged, dramatic cry of “NO!” which was soon lost as Peter bashed him on the head with his shield. Edmund quickly made his way over and smacked the stunned man with the book as well.

Edmund only grinned. “Literary criticism. Sues can't stand it.”

Peter chuckled. “Ingenious.”

Hahaha! That's so clever! Sharp and witty just like Edmund... :D After seeing all those junk about OC's and Suspians that aren't supposed to exist, this is really refreshing. I love Mary Sue bashings! They make fanfiction so much funnier.

I absolutely agree with everyone who is laughing at bashings that this is like a jewel in the middle of all that dirt. Fantastic piece of work you got here! I also love this:

I suppose we could have gotten to see a bit more of exactly why Peter and the rest feared the Sue and Stu, but other than that slight detail this is a classically well-executed parody-fic. And by "classic" I don't mean unoriginal or anything, I mean it is in line with the noble tradition and gives honor to the worthy name of Parody. A lot of fics that try to be in this same vein don't really accomplish it. So, bravo!

It took me a minute to realize who was there, but that was great. I love it. Mary Sues and Gary Stus are annoying (how on Earth did they get their names, anyway?), so this was enjoyable.

Well, if anything could stand a good bonk on the head it has to be a Mary Sue. You've picked a worthy target at any rate!

Personally I think I will be sleeping with a book or two of literary criticism by my bed from now on, in addition to all of the original Chronicles . . . it feels safer, somehow, knowing I've got something of real substance to throw. Loved this! You wrote with a light and even hand so it isn't at all clunky, the way some parodies can turn out. Just what I needed right now, and such good fun :)
