This was hauntingly beautiful. I always felt as though Aerith had a darker side to her, it's not normal to hear voices in your head and ask them questions and wish for answers. It suits her.

I also admire the use of the various parentheses, how it makes the reader hear every detail of her thoughts and what she is just THINKING, even during her final moments when she had nothing more to say.

A very fine piece of fiction, I take my hat off to you.

Oh. Gosh. This is so sad. But it is so beautiful and awesome at the same time. It's dark for Aeris fics, but still fitting, I think. It really brings to light how difficult it was for her, to do what she had to do. And I LOVE the way you write. It is so different from anything I've ever seen before, and it is so personal with the characters; you can feel them so well, and the way we felt Aerith in this is just...heartbreaking and beautiful. It almost made me cry. I am so favving this. It was amazing.

I remember reading "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" months ago and falling in love with it because the style was oh-so touching-- and now I LOVE THIS as much as I LOVED THAT. & wow, I really cannot even pick a favorite part, because everything about this is too lovely in the way that it is so heartbreaking. This was what was, and what never should have been.

I honestly don't know what that means, which defeats the point, because the story was poetry, and oh god, how it felt like the words were singing.

I think you captured Aerith exactly with this poetry. Not many people can do that, but you did.

Usually when I read this style, I just skim through and finish it. (If that makes sense.) But with this, my eyes hung onto every word. I knew Aerith couldn't have been perfect... with that kind of life, who could? This almost made me tear, which is an accomplishment on its own.

Gosh... reading this made me want to cry. It's just so.. sad! Ah! It was beautiful though. Written very beautifully... you got the point across.. Great job.
