megculber 2009-12-04 . chapter 1I'm love this ending but I'm not quite sure I undrestand it, Please tell me if I've gotten this wrong: Caspian DID marry Susan, so Susan was the star's daughter the whole time?
Don't mean to be nosey but I was having trouble wrapping my head around this all. |
Barnabus III 2009-10-18 . chapter 1That was very well done |
ilikepie2013 2009-07-24 . chapter 1WOW. that was an absolutely fantastic story. answered many questions, and the quality was superb. well done, VERY well done! |
shllybkwrm 2009-07-22 . chapter 1The end of Prince Caspian was so sad, and I'm so glad you wrote this fic - it was really lovely :). |
 Saffygirl 2009-03-08 . chapter 1Cool story! |
Apakoha 2009-01-27 . chapter 1Interesting and well-told, but I didn't like it. It just looks like wish fulfillment to me. Call me a purist or what-have-you, but this didn't keep with the books at all. Sure, with what was explained in the books, it could have happened, but since the only thing we hear is what the Friends of Narnia tell us, it just seems like this went behind Lewis' back just because Susan and Caspian were cute in the movie. |
LegacyOfThePheonix 2009-01-07 . chapter 1(Kagumi:) Do I really have to say it? All right, yes, I do: Anne, you did beautifully, again. This is a good piece, and heartfelt. And it fits, so triple points to you, dear. |
arnoldthefemalepurplepygmypuff 2008-12-21 . chapter 1since i havent read the books, some things went right over my head, but... this story is amazing. and FINALLY, a happy ending for the couple. |

Wuv it, wuv it, wuv it!
*dances around*
You sneaky lady, you. :D |
bedlamandbroomsticks 2008-08-23 . chapter 1I think, of all those that provide a solution to the Susan question, this is one of the best answers. |
Heidi 2008-07-21 . chapter 1 Very lovely! I've been wondering how they'd address the Susan issue if they ever get to the Last Battle. To be honest, I kind of hope they throw the book to the four winds and bring Susan back with the others! It always seemed so snarky and misanthropic of Lewis. |
Dracis Tran 2008-07-08 . chapter 1Well done, as is your usual :).
An interesting thought to answer the Question of Susan... but I don't like it (Sorry).
Lewis once said: "The books don't tell us what happened to Susan. She is left alive in this world at the end, having by then turned into a rather silly, conceited young woman. But there's plenty of time for her to mend and perhaps she will get to Aslan's country in the end... in her own way."
...I think she falls and is redeemed. In that way, she becomes my favorite character in the whole series, even if her redemption is offscreen. I also think it's important that it's possible for one to fall and be redeemed. I wish he had made it more clear... such as in a spin off novel, or even making it a main-sequence novel as to Susan's grief (for even as silly as she was, she would grieve her family's death). But we're all Susan in a way; we need to be writing that story ourselves.
Thanks for the thought though. I love reading any answer to the Question of Susan, and yours certainly has merit. |
Amanthya 2008-07-07 . chapter 1VERY well-thought-out, original, and in keeping with the spirit of the books. Even though I am picky and think to myself--but Aslan said she couldn't come back--this doesn't feel wrong to me. LOVE IT! |
intastella burst 2008-06-29 . chapter 1That was just . . . breathtaking. Wonderful reconcilation of bookverse and movieverse. Oh, if only this were canon . . . when I "got" the ending tears literally sprung to my eyes. Amazing work. |
Morgaine of the Fairies 2008-06-19 . chapter 1Aw. A very nicely done reconciliation of book and movie canon as far as The Susan Question (which has always bothered me) is concerned, with some extrapolation on the Susan/Caspian matter as well. At first, that invented relationship in movie canon bothered me, but fic like this makes me like it more and more. Thanks for a wonderful read! |
