This story is gorgeous! I don't know if you meant it, but I like the symbolicness of the 40 days/nights that Sam was away.

I would really like to know who exactly Sam went to visit during that time, and how he actually became an 'angel' in the first place - are you going to do a backstory on that?

This was so awesome, I absolutely loved it! The banter between the boys was perfect-

“You’re not putting Velcro wing-holes in my shirts”

- freakin' awesome! So much of this had me cracking up lol and really reminded me why I love these guys as much as I do. Bobby was great too. The scene at the dinner table was made of even more awesome lol

And Illinois!! hee, now I know why ya needed it :P and really worked out well. I love this whole story idea, and I can't wait to read more in this series.

I, for one, am really happy to see this become a series. I really enjoyed the first, and I far more enjoy this one for the guys being together throughout. You write a wonderful Dean, balancing lightness along with the wisdom and support Sam sometimes needs, while Sam is thoughtful and shyly happy and the Sam we know but with wings. Loved the idea of the special library, the 40 days (Biblical numerology? :>), the line about hunters being judge and jury on the supernatural, Dean's "that's just cosmetics," and Sam's iffy concentration. Very enjoyable!

Ha! Shirtless Sam...now the truth comes out. Great fic girl. I love the 'issues' with the wings, gave me such a giggle.
