I like the fact that I'm not the only one that writes about Esme, because she happens to be one of the only good characters, in my opinion. She's like wet clay, you can mold her into anything as long as she's motherly.

Aw, I am just in love with this piece! Carlisle and Esme are my favorite couple--I love seeing this beginning to them, it's just wonderful. :) Carlisle's thoughts as he thinks about losing a patient and as he changes her, him remembering her from just one meeting ten years ago. Just lovely!
