Pardon my crass words but, holy crap that was awesome! And, what with the dark turn J.K. went starting witht he fifth book, I can almost see that happening in the series. Truly a great story!

Intriguing idea, executed well. Well-written.

Oh my god. (I've never used that expression in a review before.) This is one of the two most brilliant re-interpretations of the Epilogue I've ever read. (The other one was "You Could Be Happy," which, contrary to what it'd seem, has a happy ending.)

This is full of Draco's regret over decisions that he's made under the influence of the dominating factors in his life. Gah. Love, regret, angst, regret. I'm numb right now (teary?), but I can guarantee that I won't ever read JKR's Epilogue the same way ever again. (Even JKR said that the chapter was to be read as if through a dream, or through a layer of haze.) This was chilling. Excellent job, and -again- brilliant.

An unusual and unexpected twist, and very well written.

Wonderful fic.

Even though I don't usually ship D/Hr, this was written so beautifully - I couldn't pass it up.

I had an inkling of who Ron really was before the end, though. But that didn't ruin it for me. It only made it better... :)
