So in the end, she decided not to *defy* her king, hmm? And then realized all too late that it had been the wrong choice. Although she did have quite a mouth on her. She called her kind arrogant. She's lucky she didn't get bogged for that. Will there be any sequels to this, or did Sarah really destroy their world? That part was a bit vague.

To answer your question- nasty Jareth is ok, IMO, as long as he doesn't *stay* nasty. Looking forward to your next story. :)

Two chapters and we're already at the ball! Is this going to be a short fic ending where the movie ends, or are you going quickly because you're setting the stage for a longer fic? Is this a J/OC or J/S story? I may be getting to far ahead with that question. Jareth may get exasperated with Sarah, but I think Lian could probably make Sarah seem shy in comparison if she let herself go.
