Okay, a suggestion, show dont tell. You need to use actions more instead of just going,"We need to think of a really great prank to pull on Christmas, I want Sirius to be impressed." Harry said once they got back from lunch.' you should show that they're comming back from lunch, e.g. Harry Hermione and Ron walked up the marble staircase, suddenly on impulse Harry turned to face his friends, "We need to think of a really great prank to pull on Christmas, I want Sirius to be impressed." Actually, Harry had been thinking of the idea for some time now, and considering that they were the only students staying at hogwarts that christmas, they had to think of something for the professors. They climbed through the portrait hole and started to suggest ideas. ect. and you really need more descriptions
