Interesting, inspired piece you have here. I like the point you make about Byakuya, that he's a man who has everything so wanting something very badly is uncharted territory. The way you wrote it, it's probably his downfall as well, but I'd like to think it was ultimately his salvation :D

But I suppose Byakuya wouldn't be as intriguing of a character that he is without these two women in his life. They define his pain, guilt, longing, and so many more emotions. Beautiful ending.

Gorgeously tragic and well done. I am not a fan of Hisana, but you made her slight presence tolerable here, which takes quite some skill. You really learn all that Byakuya has suffered here. Poignant. Do write more for them.
