Lover of Angelus 2008-08-23 . chapter 1I'm crying. You suck!
I love it. The way it jumps back and forth, absolutely brilliant.
Also, I've decided that you're evil!! ^^

Cruel Angel's Love 2008-06-30 . chapter 1I'm not sure how many times I've read this, but everytime I read it; I cry. It's simply amazing and it brings me to tears. I keep trying to leave a review, but this is the first time I haven't been speechless. |
 Yuna141 2008-06-07 . chapter 1Oh, I love this so much.
So visceral and heartbreaking. Thanks for the great read, and I'll be checking out your other stories, too. |
MARYLOVER 2008-06-05 . chapter 1Hi Arathe, nice one-shot, I was thinking this was not a sad fic, but one that made me smile, Ed's heritage is not hidden anymore, it's there to see, and inside the family, just as I'm sure Ed would like it to be.
Good to know you're still around. Bye. |
Boo-sama 2008-06-05 . chapter 1Oh my god... I'm barely holding back the tears here! Writing things this sad should be a crime! At least writing it this realistic... But it would be a shame to punish someone who writes as good as this though.
I must say, you are among the most talented authors I've come across in my time on . Sorrow is a very hard feeling to describe, but I really think you manage quite well. Not to mention your excellent grammar, which is something you don't get spoilt with when it comes to fanfiction.
Can't wait to see what you'll write next!

 E.Mahiru 2008-06-03 . chapter 1-stunned speechless-
Beautiful. I'll treasure this story. |
 Bar-Ohki 2008-06-03 . chapter 1That's so sweet. And cute. |
LuneCramoisie 2008-06-02 . chapter 1This is just simply beautiful. James seems like such a genuine kid, with the, "Which one is you?". Such a sensitive, heart-rending piece of work, especially with how we all know Ed and Al as well as we possibly could, you've just gone a step further.
When I read about James opening that package and the flash of red... I did that little shoujo gasp, you know the one. The heroine encounters something so touching, so sweet, that she must gasp and miraculously not choke on all of the sparkles that have materialized in the frame. >_<
I'm not exactly sure why, but photographs are amazing, aren't they? You catch a immeasurably tiny glimpse of someone's life and it's hard to remember that that was only a moment in time. Not even a blink when everything stood still. It's amazing how long those moments last, isn't it? |
Flair-of-fire 2008-06-02 . chapter 1::tears:: that's so sweet... aww! I can't help but cry! Al... ::sniffsniff:: this... this ... it's like my story of them getting old, only mine's got a live Ed in it... T^T And James is so cute! I got a little confused between Trishas but I figured they were talking about Al's daughter when Ed was holding a -baby- Trisha.
Very Flufferly and sweet and sad. Remembering the old days past.
"I feel like we are at the age when Life stops giving us things and starts taking them away." - Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull
That quote really seems to fit.
One question though, was there another fire after Ed and Al came to Germany? That would make sense, I'm just making sure!
Beautiful wording and details. You really got it from an old person's point of veiw! Everything was very believable, it seemed like a snipett out of daily life for Al and his decendents! I remember when my Grandparents and I were cleaning out my great-grandma's basement (she was moving into a retirement home so they were selling the house) and we found really old things, like the old version of a washing machine and stuff! I wasn't old enough to understand the importance that all the things held for my grandma (it was her mom's house) at the time, but it really reminds me of James and Al here!
