Not meaning to be offensive in anyway, but I highly recomend that you raise the rating. Higher ratings are not just for sexual content, but any content that could be inapropriate for children. This fanfic is brilliantly written well done! But at some points I really think it is not right for it to only be a T rating. =/

I shouldn't worry about US/UK spelling differences, except for the few like aluminum/aluminium which affect the pronunciation. Most people here can't spell anyway.

It's good to see it completed - although if you want contructive criticism I felt this chapter finished the story much too abruptly. Imo it would work better as two chapters: one, slightly expanded, on Callista's waking up and Severus beginning to look at places to live, then a greatly expanded one of them settling in for the summer and him fudging about her lost memories.

There's one typo in this chapter - "refused to leave her beside" must have been meant to be "bedside".

But there's also an oddity which I think must stem from some Britpick confusion. You have Severus twice think of his house at Spinner's End as a "flat", but this is an impossibility. "Flat" is a British term for a single storey (that's why it's flat, right?) dwelling which is stacked up with other premises above and/or below it - or in Scotland the term is also sometimes used of a single level on which there are two or more such dwellings, although this usage is nearly obsolete now.

If it's single-storey but stand-alone, it's a bungalow. If it has other premises above and/or below it, but it itself has two or more storeys, it's a maisonette. And if it has two or more stories and it's not in a stack, it's a house, or sometimes a cottage if it's small (but terraced rows like Spinner's End aren't called cottages).

So Severus's rooms at Hogwarts can reasonably be called a flat, since they are (probably) single storey and they are stacked up with classrooms and offices above them. But Spinner's End can't be a flat, because it has at least two storeys and (so far as we know) no other premises above or below it.

Very clever description of the mind-battle and of how Severus misleads Bella.

Couple of typoes here - "had been holding Bellatrix of" which should clearly have been "off", and "He had not intention".

Remarkable depth of characterization here. I find Snape, Bellatrix, and their daughter highly convincing. Very moving how Snape tries to connect and fails; that most certainly would have to be the case as he never learned how to connect growing up.
