Wow. That is really deep. I can tie this so well to some of my friends, who, as you put it, "have gone past the vanishing point" But, I think that there is one point where you are wrong, because it is possible to bring something back from the vanishing point. If the universe can be created from nothing, if life can be made where there was none before, then why shouldn't something that has vanished come back? It may be harder each time, but there can always be something you can try to do, even if it is futile in the end.
