I think a sequel would be awesome! I would love to read about Severus and Harry interacting and the next school years! Does Sirius ever come around or is he just never to be released?

This is a very good story. Abelforth and Shacklebot were good canon characters to be the sane parties, and Snape choosing St. Mungo's over having Albus 'care' for him was a good idea (almost too sane of him, considering that he allowed D. to micromanage him to his death after D.s death, but then again D. had another year and a half to guilt him into it).

I want to see a sequel, because I want to see what impact these changes would have on the war and Harry's and Snape's ultimate fate.

Oh maybe you could like have some of Harry's worst memories come through, like the dementors or maybe even some of what Voldemort did...I'm getting so excited over a story I'm not even sure will be written...how pathetic. Oh well, I CHALLENGE YOU. i really do like the idea of Snape and Harry switching place on a somewhat different Six Years.

With that story i mentioned maybe you could use some things from this too. being beaten as well.

My memory being like a sieve, I think I've read this before, but am not certain. Whatever the case may be, this was a very good story. It was interesting to see Harry and Severus become friends knowing that they both suffered the same thing. Aiden was a great character.

I'm glad that Snape is looking forward to a better life (at least till Voldy finds out and takes revenge on his ex-spy, sigh). I'm also happy that he's going to stay friends with Aberforth, a far better man than his brother.

Albus might not have liked Sirius in some respects, but in others he was a welcome blast from the past, when the pranks of the Marauders were still funny and he never had to think about their victim. Oh, he had to make sure Black never interefered with Harry--that's one reason Sirius never got a trial the first time around, or the second, when they knew Pettigrew was still alive. But if it was ever a conflict between Sirius and Snape, we all know whose side Albus came down on--even Harry could figure that one out after watching Dumbledore make them shake hands. Being Sirius Black meant never having to say he was sorry, at least according to Albus.

Here's hoping for a better future--at least till Moldy Oldy finds out that Snape was never his.

I just finished reading your story and all I can say is "sigh, that was great". It's so different from most of the stories that I have looked at. Not many deal with Severus' emotional state in such an indepth way. Not only that but the way you progressed the relationships between all the characters was very human. Anyway, I really enjoyed it.
