So sad, but honest! I was putting off reading this, but it's very well done - I don't want to imagine that Michael would ever leave (the canon universe freezes at the end of season three for me!), but this is probably how it would go. I like the platonic, accepting mutual declaration between Michael and Bonnie, but most especially how Michael's goodbye to Kitt is the hardest (although Devon is not mentioned). 'They hadn't talked very much--after all, they'd talked every day for eight years about anything and everything--but there wasn't a need for a long goodbye' - precisely! These two are almost part of each other, and Kitt was created for Michael, so this must have been like another death for Michael.

Very effective, but now I shall have to cheer myself up by watching a few of the episodes!

That was so sad! Gee I hope that a hero like Michael wouldn't fade away like that, or maybe that's just what a hero like Michael would do! Great job! The more stories of yours I read the more stories I could easily add to my favorites list! I'll just add the author, then I'll have them all!:)

Oh! Such a beautiful story. It's always hard to say goodbye, but easier at the same time. I think you captured it beautifully.

Any chance where we can see a scene with Devon? I imagine that would be the second hardest thing for Michael to do.
