Linda is warped, but in a little-girl way, the way girls sometimes go "he's the one I'm going to marry!" and it gave her a nice depth. But I love how their names are never used, yet you get them down.

I love how Mello drags Matt "like a ragdoll" and pays more attention to Near but stays with him in the hospital. I love how Matt talks with Near. I love how Near smiles and how he tears the city down. I love the prose and description. I love how the numbers are italicitzed. I love the ending.

Wowee- warped Linda is scary. But I really love how you've writen it and it's really in character despite how short it is. Even in what you've writen, I found it easy to imagine. You have a really lovely writing style.

Wow... Bit weird, but I really liked it. And I can see how Linda could like all of them at once (cause myself cannot seem to choose which is my favorite).

I liked how Linda referred to the Wammy kids as numbers; it gave the fic indeed a warped feeling. Linda has absolutely zero character in the series, so I guess it's hard (or easy? Lots of writers freedom..) to make a fic about her. Well, in any case: I can't say if Linda was ic but Mello, Matt and Near were.
Oh, and I liked the part about Near's smile, by the way.

brilliant. I love how you can clearly depict every character so that you don't need to clearly spell out which number represents who. Linda's opinions of them all are extremely interesting. awesome job! :D

Your characterizations are brilliant to the point of jealousy and I think I'm nearly speechless (but I think I can ramble on about the awesomeness that is this story for a bit longer).
This is ohsovery Mello the way he goes to hit Near but stops the last moment, the way he drags Matt along like he's nothing but sits with him while he's sick; everything. Sick!Matt should stick around a little longer because I love the idea to bits and beyond. And Near was like woah (with less words).

And don't even get me started on Linda, because I might have to propose to you.

I was reading your profile (because I do that) and I found this, and no one really writes about Linda, and I'm not even supposed to be on the compy but that's another story, and reading stories like this always makes me copy the style, especially when they make an impression on me, hence the commas.

And I really liked it, and I think Matt being sickly is a wonderful characterization. And your characterization of Linda is wonderful too, because I think anyone who went through Whammy's is going to come out a little warped; it's just generally inhumane... D
