My God. I don't even know what to say. This is so good.

Lavi is...well...he's something. But like a lot of people, I don't hate him. In fact, I find his character to be rather sad from what I can gather of him. But to be fair, I do have a tendency to like most "bad" guys in the stories I read...movies I watch...videogames I play...yeah, I pretty much always like the villain. But unlike some of the people that like Lavi, I don't hate Lenalee. I don't believe she's holier than thou, or prissily noble. She's right. What Lavi and Kanda are doing is horrible, and they should be stopped. And I say that, even though most of me in on the team Lavi/Kanda side of this game.
And speaking of the duo of Lavi and Kanda, I personally find Kanda to be the most interesting of the two, and probably the most interesting of the three characters. I have a pretty good handle on Lavi's motivation for the things he does, and Lenalee's desire to counteract him. But Kanda is a mystery to me, as it seems that he is going along with Lavi for no particular reason, and doesn't really have anything to gain from their alliance, since money and power don't seem to mean anything to him.
I know it's been a while since this was updated, but if it is continued, I look forward to seeing how Allen plays into this mix, and I would love to know more about Kanda as well.

It apparently took about a year for chapter 2 to follow chapter 1, so I have my fingers crossed that come April chapter 3 will be a-coming.

Lavi's a psychopathic son of a bitch, and his behaviour is absolutely monstrous, but I still like him more than Lenalee. Violence is bad, yes, blackmail is evil, yes, hurting people is terrible, yes. But he's fine with anything and everything, he's apathetic to anything and everything, until you get to Yuu.

Then his garden-variety megalomania goes batshit insane, and while the thought of them beating up a girl is reprehensible, I'm totally evil for thinking this is what you get for fucking around with Yuu.

This story is crazy. In a good way.

Don't worry, Lavi isn't hated. I love him so much more in this fic. Please update! I want moar! Personally, I hate Lenalee, so this is awesome. Will fav when I get the chance to sign in :D

wow, I love this xD Lavi is awesome! Cool to see he's the bad guy, no more like the predator, in this, a great twist on the usual. I'd like to see Kanda with a more active role though, although it already seems to me that he might be the key to Lavi's downfall if Lenalee besides to play dirty. Can't wait to see how Lenalee will retaliate, and how Allen will mix things up)

I just love this. Too much. I love how you molded the characters, keeping them to their personalities, yet giving them their own flair for this particular AU. Lavi's analytical and manipulative side is just entirely too intriguing. Kanda is totally in character, and I thought his personality truly shined during the kendo/fencing fight. His reactions were impressively IC. I've been struggling lately with fic ideas, as I have trouble thinking of ways to keep everyone IC, but reading this was really aweinspiring. Lavi and Kanda aren't portrayed exactly like they are in canon, but the way you wrote them out was just too great to even consider them OOC. Your writing style itself is a wonder the story just seems so enigmatic the way you write it.

I really am curious to see how they toy with Lenalee in particular. It makes me wonder whether they'll defeat her... or if she'll defeat them. She is a strong girl, after all. I'm really looking forward to future chapters, no matter how long it takes. Sorry for the lack of constructive criticism. XD

interested in where you're going with it

THis is certainly something new. I have never seen Lavi portrayed so darkly but I must say, I find it almost addicting. You absolutely HAVE to continue this brilliant story. Just one little glitch, and to say the truth, never in any of my reviews have I ever given any criticism, but this story is just too good not to be perfect.

The last part, where I think it goes back in time, right? You should make it a bit more obvious that they have, or else readers would be confused.

Update fast this is the best AU I have read so far. Or maybe even the best LaviYuu. I'll see.

Its a way different way to viewing the characters in a completely different setting, yet the characters remain to themselves. It's wonderful and I look forward to reading the rest of it.
