I thoroughly enjoyed the first half of this – lively, realistic and humorous. Aithra was priceless!
I was less sure of the second half – a bit too long, and a teeny bit patronising to the readers and A & H, who must have known they were the story characters. I wasn’t convinced by H’s smile either at the end of the story. I know it was a literary device to round the story off, but I didn’t feel it fitted with the rather charmless, slightly sullen and unforgiving boy who’d gone before. Perhaps this last section could have done with expanding, or we could have been shown something of A & H’s reactions during the story to remind us that this was a story about them and not just a vehicle for the Golden Prince story.
Look forward to more stories!

So sweet! I am simply swooning inside. The title is so appropriate too, it really fit in with the theme and the plot of the story. I don't think I've ever reviewed your stories, but let me tell you, I'm a big fan. I read all of your Alexander stories. I tried to watch the Gravitation anime so I can read your Gravitation stories as well, but the first episode was so awkward that I just gave up. Well, maybe some other time.

As for the story, I would have liked a little more post fight Alexander/Hephaestion interaction. The story somehow feels unfinished despite the wonderful ending. Perhaps it should continue in another short story?
